Salted Caramel Popcorn

Salted Caramel Popcorn

  • 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn kernels (about 16 cups popped corn)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 – 2 tsp kosher or sea salt

– Preheat oven to 300°

– Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

– Pop popcorn using air popper (or preferred method) put in large bowl.

– In small saucepan melt butter, brown sugar, corn syrup together over medium heat. Bring to boil. Boil for 4 minutes without stirring.

– Pour caramel mix over popcorn and stir to coat.

– Pour popcorn onto sheet, sprinkle salt on top and place in oven.

– Bake for 20 minutes, stirring half way through

– Allow popcorn to cool and then enjoy!!!
